North Shore Recycling received contra advertising with the North Shore News after placing the newspaper’s logo on their blue collection bags. When they came to Creative Wonders, they were running a four-page centre spread every quarter, and struggling to fill it with content.
Creative Wonders immediately renegotiated the advertising arrangement with the North Shore News. Instead of a large quarterly spread, which had low frequency and low readership, we created a smaller ad template that would run every week. Each ad had a single message or educational focus, which is much more likely to be read and retained.
This advertising format has been used by the client successfully for over fifteen years in local newspapers.
